Question of the Week:  People causing trouble for you
 
Hi Katerina. It seems that everywhere I go, I am surrounded by people who try to cause trouble for me.  My neighbors are rude, noisy and always causing problems.  My supervisor at work and some other employees seem out to get me, and never want to give me a fair chance at anything.  I even have a mean sister who is jealous of me and always out to make me look bad.  Katerina, I am not a bad person, so why do all these people seem to be against me?

Answer:
Hi Kandice.  First of all, you need to realize that we all face difficult people in life.  We can't always change these people, and some of them are simply mean on the inside and out.  But we CAN control whether we allow them to affect and torment us, or whether we repel their negativity and move ahead unbothered.  Since we can't directly control the bad intentions of people who are unfair and mean to us, it is usually best to not give them the satisfaction of knowing they get us upset.  These people are generally insecure about themselves, and want others to feel insecure also -- don't let them.
 
Like most bullies, once they see that we pay little attention to their antics and they can not make us miserable, they will stop trying to harm or bother us.  This works in most cases of difficult people, so I suggest you let these trouble-makers see that they have no effect over you. Tip of the Week:  Look for hidden messages from your Spirit Guides
Omens are signs from your spirit guides to inform you of future events in your life.  They often seem strange and especially out of place, but they happen just the same.  Your spirit guides want to help you.  Do you pay attention to these messages, or ignore them?  Here are a few examples:
 
You are trying to decide whether or not to accept a certain job.  It might not be secure or safe because it's temporary work, and you're used to a steady paycheck.  You're driving and you spot a bumper sticker saying "Wrong way Safeway" referring to a local debate whether the Safeway grocery should be able to build a store in your town.  But that bumper sticker had a message to you about your job decision: The safe way is the wrong way.
 
You receive a letter addressed to you at your home address.  But you don't know the senders.  They are from another region and want you to send them your "new" address since they are under the impression you are moving soon.  Five weeks later you find yourself moving to a new location.
 
Such omens are messages about your future that you probably don't even recognize, but they do require your attention.  Start practicing paying attention to some of these, and ask your spirit guides for more signs.
